yeah, such things as contact lenses with big irises exist, mainly in japan and south korea. they actually make asian eyes look bigger, and somehow..better (IMHO).

yeah prolly genes...

my mother has fuate, my father has hitoe and i have semi-fuate eyes so it's prolly genes that determine what you look like

unless you get eye surgery
but he majority of japanese people have large eyes...

My eyelid creases aren't visible at all, is this also common with asians? or in a certain part of Asia? What would the Japanese call these type of eyes?

shoujo-punki, I agree, personality has a lot more worth because even if someone's really pretty and they're just plain mean no one's going to want to be around them. ^^

So on the topic of 1, 2, and 3 crease thing. . .what is a 3 crease? I've never heard of that. =/

Well, actually.. The main reason why japanese and korean people have big eye's is because they have that surgery and wear those special contact lenses. ^^;; I, myself have had that surgery and my eye's gotten bigger than before.. But they're not like huge, but medium. Oh yeah, some of you said that they have used photoshops and other stuff, which is true. Trust me .. I seen alot of japanese and korean singer's in person and their eye's are much more smaller than in the picture.

i don't have that problem. my eyes are from myself big .. my daddy have hug eyes so i have it from him. but i heard also something about tape on your eyes? >.>

the "big lenses" are called circle lenses =] a lot of ulzzhangs wear them to make there's eyes really POP ;P also, white eyeliner DOES help (experience) yea....oh! and also LONG eyelashes on top of that makes them look HUGE. the eye tape isn't necessarily for bigger eyes, it's more used for single eyelid people that want the double eyelid but not surgically =] hope that helps

I did hear about those contacts lense..but never seen anyone use them. My eyes are middle size. Not too small nor too big. I don't know, but sometimes I find my eyes being bigger than they are. I guess it's just like my hands. They get smaller in the winter because it's colder...and they're normal size when it's warmer. But however big or small your eyes are, you can always make them how you wanted with make-up. My sister have smaller eyes than mine, but would used black eyeliner and draw around her eyes. She draws it to the size she wants and then shade it in..so with the black shaded eyeliner around her eyes, people thinks she has big eyes. I think as long a you create some sort of eyelid by using make-up on yours eyes, your eyes will look bigger...

It helps if your eyes are big already, but to make them look ultra big for a night out, line the bottom with white eyeliner, and the outer edges with black. if you line the inside it will make your eyes look smaller. Also curl your eyelashes.

I've been told the eyeliner makes my eyes look bigger. So I guess black eyeliner could work too..

i dunno anything about make up but i watched lotsa youtube and tried applying eyeliner.

i'm asian with double eye lids that are very deep (i mean the space between the lids are really thin). and what i noticed was black eye liner really doesn't go well -- it makes me look fierce. Brown works better.

also, after i use eyeliner my eyes look even smaller than before. x)

haha. anyone has the same problem?

i talked to a few friends and they said i just lack practice/ not used to seeing myself with make up. xD

I was in japan a lot (country-side) and I couldn't see anyone who had bigger eyes than me. Maybe a bit rounder..

Maybe bacause they weren't using so much make-up and stuff as ppl on the japanese magazines..

there is many things that make them look bigger first is photoshop ( yes all pictures in fashion magazine are photoshop ) than they use large contact lenses ( which make your dark part look bigger ) than there is the fact they use tons of make up and make up can change them from one person to the other ....

some go extreme and have eye surgery to get bigger eye

thats all i can think about so far to japanese girl to get big eyes
